Course Overview

PMP Online Training in Hyderabad and Bangalore, India

PMP (Project Management Professional) training is a popular program designed to provide professionals with the knowledge and skills required to excel in project management. The PMP certification is recognized globally and is considered a valuable credential for project managers.

BESTWAY typically covers the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), which is a guidebook published by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMBOK outlines a set of standard practices, processes, and terminology in project management.

During PMP training, participants learn about various aspects of project management, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and project closure. The training covers topics such as project scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, risk management, communication management, and stakeholder management.

BESTWAY training is usually conducted through a combination of instructor-led sessions, workshops, case studies, and practice exams. It is aimed at helping participants understand project management concepts, develop their skills, and prepare for the PMP certification exam.

The PMP certification exam consists of multiple-choice questions that assess a candidate's knowledge and application of project management principles and practices. It covers the content outlined in the PMBOK and requires a solid understanding of project management concepts and their real-world application.

BESTWAY training can be beneficial for professionals who are already working in project management roles or aspiring to become project managers. It provides a structured approach to managing projects, enhances one's understanding of industry best practices, and improves career prospects in project management.

PMP (Project Management Professional)

PMP stands for Project Management Professional. It is a globally recognized certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMP certification validates a professional's knowledge, skills, and experience in project management.

To earn the PMP certification, individuals are required to meet certain eligibility criteria set by the PMI. The general requirements are as follows:

  1. Education: You must have a four-year degree (bachelor's degree) or an equivalent global degree. Alternatively, you can have a secondary diploma (high school diploma or global equivalent) along with additional project management education of 35 hours.

  2. Project Management Experience: You need to have a minimum of 4,500 hours of project management experience leading and directing projects if you have a four-year degree. If you have a secondary diploma, the minimum requirement is 7,500 hours of project management experience.

  3. Project Management Education: In addition to the project management experience, you must complete 35 hours of formal project management education. This requirement can be fulfilled through PMP training programs or other approved educational courses.

Once you meet the eligibility criteria, you can proceed to apply for the PMP certification exam. The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions and covers various aspects of project management based on the PMBOK Guide. The exam assesses your knowledge of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing projects.

It's important to note that the PMP certification requires ongoing professional development. Once certified, you must earn PDUs (Professional Development Units) to maintain your certification. PDUs can be earned through various activities such as attending training, participating in webinars, publishing articles, and volunteering in project management-related activities.

Obtaining the PMP certification demonstrates your commitment to the project management profession and can enhance your career prospects. It signifies that you possess the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and manage projects effectively.

If you have any more specific questions about the PMP certification, feel free to ask!

  1. Education:

    • A four-year degree (bachelor's degree) from an accredited institution.
    • OR a secondary diploma (high school diploma or global equivalent).
  2. Project Management Experience:

    • With a four-year degree: A minimum of 4,500 hours (equivalent to about three years) of project management experience, accrued over at least 36 non-overlapping months. This experience must include leading and directing projects.

It's recommended to review the official PMP handbook provided by PMI or visit the PMI website for the most up-to-date and detailed information on eligibility criteria and requirements.

Please note that the eligibility criteria and requirements for the PMP certification may be subject to change, so it's advisable to consult the PMI website or contact PMI directly for the latest information.
